16 Inches High
Any one think i could have a 16 inch high tank?? Reason being i made a stand too hold 3 4x18's and i only put 2 on the bottom shelves..
What i am thinking is putting 2 tanks of 18x25x16 = 72litres...
Bit small but what do you think??
I only have 26 inches from the stand too the roof, so iam trying too work with 10inches between the tank and the roof..Cant go much smaller...

Flukes, I've seen tanks of that size being used for breeding tanks, and quite successfully, I might add. Have you thought of having just one tank with a removable divider. Easier to filter and heat, and can then be used as a grow out tank later down the track.

Well i have 2 4x18x18 on the rack and i can use them for pairs atm but when they start producing i would like too have some breeding tanks...
The top rack is 50inches long x 18inches wide x and i have 26inches between the roof...
Just trying too think of a good sized breeding tank(s) too sit across the top, then use the bottom 2 for grow outs..
I could probably go 18inches high just might make it hard too put fish in and take them out with only 8 inches....
Feeding and water changes wont be a problem though....
Ahhh what too do....
Might need another rack for breeding....
Running out of space though
