    Driftwood Prep

I have an old piece of driftwood that I am wanting to use in my future discus tank. How long should I soak the wood before putting in the tank? Any other things to do to driftwood?

    Thanks

    BOIL BOIL BOIL!!

My personal preference is to bucket the wood, then fill the bucket with boiled water.

Let sit 24 hours, drain and repeat.

I usually do this at LEAST twice depending on where I got the wood and what type it is.

Have you tried Mentone Aquarium? I think they have quite a lot of driftwood of all sizes.
