    female angel with problem

    Hi folks,
I've just found one of my older female angels has developed an overly extended ovipositor ( I think that's what is called, anyway, the tube the eggs are laid from ) it's been like this for about a month and it becomes more obvious when she's ready to lay eggs. I've never seen this happen before and it makes it difficult for her to attach the eggs, can someone please let me know if this is normal for older females or if I can do something to help her if she has injured herself, thanks again, max.

I have a female that is the same although she can retract it. I am not aware of anything that can be done but do look and make sure there is not an egg stuck there that could present an infection issue. Someone else may be able to help more.
