Our Discus arrived in Aust today!!!

Was in the Quarantine room unpacking fish for the better part of the day.... and like Big Kev would say... "I'm EXCITED!"

    They were Good... DAMN GOOD!

Proteus, u gotta come in and see Bunga Raya's at 4.5" size and at full colour!! SPECTACULAR!!

The large 4.5" Red Melons were pretty stunning as well. The colours were so clean... no dusting!

The 5 large 4" Leopard Spotted snakeskin were again beautiful and full spotted right thru the body.

The Spotted eruption.... WOW... the fine fine spots on them was unbelievable! So fine and so dense!! Can only imagine them at full size.... They would be one shockingly beautiful fish! Wish I could get more...

The 4" Pearl Pigeons were not bad either.... Good size and good price on them as well.

The 2.5" Pure Goldens looked magnificent with their white body and yellow/orange fins. So clean those fish...

Leopards at 2" were George's favourites. Great patterning and tiny little eyes on these fish.

The "Ruby Storm" a new pre-released fish we managed to secure were different.... They are a white based fish (like the Red/whites) with spotting developing on them like the leopard snakeskin... Quite an interesting fish...

Snow Whites 2".... well, they were white alright... Good shape.

Marlboro reds 2".... Thought we'd bring some small red fish for those who wanted less pricey by still nice red fish.. Good shape, great colour and not too pricey.

I think we're going to have a BALL when all these fish get released from Quarantine. We're definately going to have a good concetration of very very high grade discus in a small small shop.... LOL!

Hope the Sydneysiders come, even if it's for a look and a chat to us and give us feedback.

    cheers
    kev

PS: I'll post up some pictures of the fish in quarantine over the next few days after they have settled in.

Oh, and forgot to mention My fav fish!

F3 Red Alenquers at 2.5"... they are DEEEEP REDDISH BROWN in colour. EXCELLENT fish.

Oh and we got a 'sample' fish... at 3" Super Red Alenquer.... A line bred variant from the Red Alenquers. That fish looked really nice when I picked it up... Will have another look 2morrow. I dare say I'll be getting more of these Super Red Alenquers.

Will post prices in a couple days... Just let the discus settle in and then I can have a closer look. I have a rough estimate as to what the fish are going to be worth, but we'll see how they look in a few days.

    Pictures as requested pictures below....
Remember, fish have only been in quarantine room for 2 days. They are still acclimatising to the new conditions.... and plus I got bad photography skills. Fish are eating very well and are fed twice a day now... once on beefheart mix and once on Tetra Colourbits. 20% water change done daily using aged and heated water.

Leopard spotted snakeskin 4"... not a very good photo...

Super Red Alenquer at 3" (a sample fish we brought in just to have a look... very impressed)

Snow whites at 2"ravenously feeding on beefheart!

Goldens at 2.5" (not the most flattering picture to see the very good shape of the fish) eating beefheart mix.

Spotted Eruptions 3.5" (tiny little spots on the body....fully spotted fish. Not the most flattering picture I must say, but STUNNING fish!)

Thought I'd put links up so as not to clog the forum and downloading time.

Holy Catfish I love the Bungas and Marls (I don't usually like Marls coz of the peppering one usually sees).

Nice flat faces on the Alenquers as well......**drool**
