    I'm using a mesh. It doesn't stay that way all the time. Riccia is similar to your backyard lawn, it need 'moving' every now and then..

    Got the mesh from bunning. its the plastic mesh for gardening.

    I grow the riccia in a 3ft standard tank, running co2 and 4 fluro.
    i hardly turn all 4 fluro on, the plant is growing too fast. I don't have much time to prune it as i used to before.

    atm, only 2 is on, the grow is still noticable though.
