Seachem denitrate as canister media
Hi folks,
I have a litre of unused Seachem Denitrate which I thought I might use in a new canister filter I am setting up. Speaking to the LFS I believe that it only works as a "de-nitrate" at slow flow rates, but in a 2200lph canister it will behave the same as Matrix.
So whats the verdict? Would it be better to use it instead of noodles in one of the trays?
Cheers,
Scott

denitrite IS matrix, just ground smaller, it will work the same, i use it to fill "gaps" between normal matrix in my canister filters.
ti packs tight and might fall through some media baskets.
