Does anyone think I have a chance?

Here in Canada, one of the larger LFS chains have organized a contest for the best aquarium.

    http://www.aquariumservices.com/cont...age_fresh1.htm

The link above has all the freshwater entries so far.

I thought since it was free id give it a shot. My picture is the last one

Does anyone think I have a chance at winning?

2 dozen cardinal tetras would do the trick!

It think yours is definately one of the best ones.

Special mention to pics 6, 9, 16 and 21 as well.

I agree with the cardinal idea as well.

    What do you win?

I like No. 9, but I think yours has better balance. Good luck. I think you should do very well.

    Thanks,

I did add 20 tetras yesterday, however I wasnt able to resend another picture.

The winner of the competition receives $250. So id figure I would just give it a shot, even though my tank isnt not yet complete.

They did not list any criteria on which they will be judging the competition, so clearly different people have different point of views.

Thanks again for the encouragement. Will let you know how it goes.

    Sincerely,

    Louis

your tank and picture is fantastic as i have sadi before,

if you want a critical opion though, your water level was a little low when you took the pic and thus you get the fluros in the shot. You can also see the food containers and a couple of the leads coming out of the base of the tank. Also your background is not flat as you can see the refelction of the fluros in it.

Thats the only things i can see wrong with it, as for the tank and layout stunning.

photos are quite hard things to do, yours is a good chance for first
