just a little one for you guys and girls should i let my red horse face spit the fry in her own time or strip her i have done both in the past and lost a lot of fry doing so when i strip her after about a week or so they die over about 2-3 day and if i let her hold them she seems to swallow them
what should i do

strip her and keep the fry in a fry saver no bigger then a 4l ice creame container offer bbs 3x a day you'll have more fry then you know what to do with

i on strip them till 2 weeks old these way fry are stronger and alot better survival rate !

i usually wait till they spit them and then take the fry.

i have striped in the past though with equal success

thanks mate got my fingers crossed hoping everything goes well they are in there own 4 foot tank now so that might held them to

thanks for all idears i now have a happy female Rio branco with about 80-100 fry
all fry are feeding and are well and mum is doing a great job
