sump pump has hit a bump.

Could somone please put me on the right track. The pump in my wet dry filter is dying. It has no brand or vol markings on casing. Tank 200 lt. Sump 60 lt. Intake is 50mm. Outlet 12 mm OD. Is ther a calculation on the tank size or pump. What hapens if I fit too strong a pump. I have a spare 1400 lt. pump but not game to try it. If I get water all through the house will youse come to my funeral.

any pump will do for a 200L tank i'd aim for a 600-1000l/h pump, its the drain back to your tank that stops flooding if your worried enlarge the output from your tank.
