Hi, I'm helping to set up a 6ft long, 300L tank in which 5-6 angelfish would be kept as the feature fish. Would it be ok to also keep a pair of either firemouth or convicts in there from an aggression perspective?

If you start out with the convicts or firemouths really small, you probably be okay for some time, but once they form a breeding pair, lookout every other fish in the tank !
Those guys are VERY aggressive.Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P
