Where are the black lace veiltails?
Does anyone know someone who is a quality angelfish breeder?
I am looking for black lace angelfish preferably in a veil tail and breeders of quality stock seem to be like hens teeth in Australia nowadays.
I have spoken to older fishkeepers who speak in awe of the top quality black lace veiltails which were once available for a hefty price way back around 20yrs ago but no one seems to have seen any around lately.
Did the fish or the breeders all die out? Would be a great shame.

the veiltail gene is deleterious in double doses as is the black gene, this means that the chance of growing black veiltails is very slim and breeding them is even harder.

Dark marble would be good too.
