Introducing Wild discus to new tank

    Hi all,

I have just introduced 2 piece of wild heckel(~4 inch) and 2 juveniles discus (~1.5inch) of unknown breed. The pair of wild heckel seems to be having problem settling in, it swimming on its sides and hidding at a corner. Is there any problem?? i have condition the tank for 1 week with aeration and maintain the temp at 30 degrees celsius. added water conditioner to the tank as well.

Anyone can highlight to me what went wrong?? I wont want to loss the wild heckels.

    Hi Raymond

Congrats on the purchase and good luck.
If I could ask a few questions please:
What is the pH and other parameters of the tank they are in?
What is the pH and other parameters of the tank they came from?
Are the other smaller fish also wilds?
When you say you conditioned for a week, what exactly did you do?

Sorry for all the questions, but need to know in order to try help.

    Regards
