San Merah Discus
New Wilds
Got some new wilds today (oh, & a few domestics too). Ever since ivo beat me to the best of the wild browns recently, I have been talking to him about taking them off his hands.
Today was the day, so I collected his 3 browns, as well as 4 domestics he threw in to sweeten the deal (thanks ivo). Thought 7 discus was a bit too many for my usual QT, so I removed the inhabitants from the 4ft and it's serving as their QT tank. Not ideal, as there is sand & plants, but under the circumstances, I thought it was the best option for them.
I couldn't get a decent solo shot of the 3rd wild brown, turq or albino red melon, but there are glimpses of them in the group shots.
Once they finish their QT, that's when I'm going to sort out my tanks so that all the wilds are in one & all the domestics in the other.
Anyway, hope you like them. Some of the pics have the wrong date on them. All were taken today (12 Oct 08).

Random Group Shots
Can tell all are really healthy - good brown poos. Though I normally wouldn't feed on 1st day, they were coming to the front of the tank begging & they ate straight away for me.
Just as a precaution, about to hit them with Big L & cover the tank for 48hrs, so I'll miss admiring them for the next few days.
Thanks heaps, Ivo. I'm really happy with all my new fish. Can't thank you enough
Cheers, Robyn

Medium Discus
hi roblyn, they all look very happy and i can understand why, since they have so much more room to swim around now in your tank. it is quite funny and strange looking at the same discus but in a different tank now. i am glad you are happy with then and they travelled ok to your home. you managed to capture a good picture of the albino (not the albino red melon, the other one) which i failed to take good picture of it many times in the past. keep me informed how they going and very happy that they are now living in a much bigger tank, and in good hands.
thanks pink66!
