ragged fins
One of my red turq's has, over the last week, got ragged fin's. The other two discus are perfect shape however this ones fins are not in good shape around the edges. He does get picked on a bit by the other fish however eats quite well.
Water conditions 28 - 30 degrees depending on the day, ph 6.4, ammonia 0 kH <1degree.
I have now moved the fish into his own tank.....Does stress cause this ?

I am sure your fish is getting picked on when you are not around.

I think it sould recover within a week or two....if you really worry about it...just add some salt..

I'll try and take a pic before and after so I can see progress........I have isolated the fish in his own tank, although all tanks are connected to the same sump.
Thanks for all your advice..its great to be able to share your hobbies
