    Had this bloke for a few weeks. Bought from LFS as "Red dragon /Violet"
    He has paired up with a red torque but so far they are only practicing.

    paddy the fish is a good colour but can you try to get some better shots from he side .
    we will be able to get a better idea of shape and things like that

    i really like the pattern and strong red and white color contrast on checkboard pigeon like the one you have, but so far all the ones i have seen all have very funny shape. the dorsal and annal fins are so long, and thats the reason i didn't buy any. looks like these checkboard pigeons selling in various aquariums all have the same strange shape i wonder whether they are all come from the same breeder?

    The shape is a little odd, the long fins make it look worse. The eye has a great colour, a good strong deep red, although it looks a little on the stunted side. Colour is also very strong, nice pattern. The chin is quite weak and there appears to be a bit of a saddle on the nose area.
    Overall, not the best, but has a few saving features.

    I would not recommend pairing it with the Turq, you will end up with PB based fish with lots of heavy peppering.
