    My Heckels

I got some heckels from Singapore in the month of January. Also got two Wild Greens and one wild blue along with it. Initially all of the fishes were in the same tank. After two months i moved the heckels into a seperate 6 X 2 X 2 tank.

Some shots of the new heckel tank

They have now settled down well in their new tank. I have taken some photos of them. Hope you like them. The journey so far has been good.

Another wild discus tank is in the making. This time size of the tank will be 6 X 1.5 X 2.5(in feet). I have ordered some more heckels and some red discus. They will be with me by the end of this month or early next month.

    Regards,

    Welcome to the forum sridharp77.

You've got some lovely looking heckels there.

Love to see a full tank shot now that you've got them settled in the new heckel tank.

    Driftwood looks great :P

Thanks guys for your encouragement. I got into the Wild discus after i failed miserably in keeping altum.

I will definitely post the full tank pictures in a day or two. I have removed some driftwood from the tank as i found the discus to be hiding a lot when the number of hiding places are more.

The drift wood were collected from mango grove here in India.

The new tank would be setup and ready in another one months time (hopefully). The tank has already been made and is lying empty at my house. Waiting for the stand and the fishes. I will post the pictures once it is up and running.

    Regards,

    Sridhar.P
