    Plastic feeding cones..

I was wondering if anyone else uses these for feeding there discus. I thought it was a good idea as the food would not just fall to the bottom, but when they take a "peck" you can hear the sound from the other side of the room. I was wondering if this would cause them damage in the long run as it already seems that there mouths have became more pointy, if that makes sense.

Just wanted to know if its alright to use them?

    Cheers

It's fine to use them. Ppl usually use them when feeding live worms (or worms laced with metronidazole or praziquantel). Just makes sure the worms don't end up in the gravel.

I use a feeding cone for feeding live blood worm and I think its great!
Though I still get some worm that excape from some of the fish and dig down into the gravel but atleast they don't run away from the vac when i clean the gravel they swim right up to it so they can get any worms I dig up!

by the by the red turq I bought from SLS when i put the cone in for the first time was a hoot caused it to swim in tight circles for about 2 min looking for the worms it was quite funny
