Tetras in a 4x1.5x2
G'day all, I've bought a 4 footer to give the discus in my 3 footer some more room to move. I currently have 4 discus, 5 Sterbais, 9 Rummynose in my tank. What i want to know is how many tetras can I add when i go up to a four. I would like an even number of Rummynose and Cardinals.
How does 20/20 sound? Or can i safely go higher?

Your pretty safe with smaller fish (tetras) however to work this out technically you'll need to post us your tank measurements.
(4ft)48" x _width?_ x _height?_
And what type of filtration are you using?

48x18x24.
Will be running the standard "in hood" filtration as well as an Eheim 2217.
On a side note, if i run a 2217, can i rip out the "in hood" filtration and run it on it's own?
Thanks for the help.
