what bonds best?
Hello, could anyone tell me what glue I should use to bond a handle on to the two 36"x18" sheets of acrylic I want to use as a top for my tank? My local aquarium builders are keeping their lips tighter than a camel's axx in a sand storm

Theres about amillion different types of bonds out there. You just need to pick the right one for acrylic. Go to your hardware store and ask, i'm sure there will be somebody there to give you the right advice.

lol.... mate i've worked with acrylic in the signage/label industry for many years. Just read the labels which should tell you what surfaces are appropriate. The only problem with acrylic is that it will melt if the bond/glue heats up.
