well being a nurse I can get my hands on all sorts of stuff and I have found that IV flagyl work quite well.

Orange flavour says to me artificial colour additives, for that reason alone I would not use it.
DiscusMad, isnt the IV fluid clear/opague???

its clear I hve used it once with great results
just can't have the tank lights on for a few hours when given the iv stuff goes off in direct sunlight

what i have in hand is called flagyl suspension is a syrup version .... i dont think it works as normal flagyl in tab .... i get lotsa slimey film on my sponge filter and glass ..yucks... and the sick fish still not eating ...although it appear healthier
well i guess i will just get another prescription from my gp

How do u ask a GP for flagyl??
My gf tried to ask her GP but he wont write a presciption for her !!
What should the GP write on the prescription ?? for human used or animal ??

i just explained to him why i need and brought discus book along to show him.
gp is not vet so the prescription of course for human
