    Look how we've grown

    October 2006.

Sixteen little wild caught altums are put in a 250 lt heavily planted tank with 100 neons for company. Water is very soft with a pH of 5.5 and tea coloured from the driftwood and peat moss.

When I got the altums, I estimate they were probably three months old, now, ten months later they have grown into strong healthy fish.

Now they're ready to go into their new ten foot home, where I anticipate they will have a real growth spurt.

Absolutely beautiful fish Merrilyn ... a true credit to you.

Still one of my all time favourite FW fish, I think they will be more than happy when they get into the 10fter Would love to see some pics when they get to their new home.

Keep up the great work with these guys ... awesome stuff !
