    new to angles

hey all you angle nuts.i just purchased some breeding/holding tanks from a guy and with 1 of the tanks came a breeding pair of golden longfins.(is this there correct name?)the fish are quite large 10 -15cm from top to bottom.the thing that is odd about them is there pectral fins.the male has 1 on left side and female has 1 on the right side.is this normal?
also are these fish of any value.if you know what i mean.
i have never kept angles before so i dont know much about them any advice would be appriciated.

    cheers boydie.

hey boydie, i've had no trouble keeping angels. they are pretty hardy and brought lots of fun to the family. i just feed them flakes and frozen bloodworm as a treat. for a breeding pair, i only used a sponge filter and a heater with regular water change. and if they have fry. feed the babies with new hatched baby brine shrimp and they will expand their little wings soon. surely you will come to love your angels. sorry i dun know much about the p.fins... but that actually makes them quite a sweet pair cheers, Eric
