    Covering eggs

Whats the best thing to use for covering eggs from the parents.

I've heard of plastic and stainless steel. I'm thinking stainless steel might be the best thing but where do I get it from.
What do you guys use and where did you get it.
If you have any pics that'll be great.

My Fineline and Spotted Snakeskins laid yesterday and if this batch gets eaten then I want to have something ready to cover the next batch.

    Thanks.. Oscar

Use chicken wire from bunnings, easy too bend and wont be effected if submerged in water.

Great so if it's galvanised it's still safe to use.

    oscar,

i have used the fly wire (also from bunnings) that is more metal than the nylon stuff, its a little more money than the nylon but you can shape it to suit and keep it off the breeding tube whilst still allowing the parents to fan/blow over it

    Thanks guys

I went to Bunnings last night and got some Chicken wire. I made the mesh and covered the eggs. Now it's just a matter of waiting and seeing if the eggs are fertile.
About 1/3 of the eggs had already been eaten and out of those left about 1/3 are white.

    Thanks.. Oscar
