    geo araguaia have laid eggs

    A pair of my araguaia have finally laid eggs on a piece of driftwood Have been waiting so long for the fish to be mature enough to breed, although fish are still not that large. Heres a pic and video (neither do parents justice), i'll keep you updated on their progress.

    I WAS WRONG

    There is about 100 fry swimming in and out of a terracotta pot! It turns out the parents had moved the eggs behind the pot and I couldnt see them so I presume they had been eaten :P YAY! More pics soon. The female in pic is roughly 10cm, male a few cm larger.
