    Hello. I'm new to Dwarves

Hello. My name is Tom. I'm new to keeping dwarf cichlids. I have in the past kept and bred lombardoi.

I have just set up a new tank for my future dwarves which I'm getting from Thomas once the tank is matured. I'm hoping to breed the little fellas, but we'll see how it goes. I'm getting some agassizi Tefe and some baenschi.

Here is their new tank. Its a 24"x12"x14" (LxWxH).

Breeding pot. I'm going to put another in soon with a different entrance style.

Cave to provide cover and shade. (and a spot to spawn if they want it.)

Three little perch are helping to cycle the tank.

I'd be greatful for any hints and tips or comments on what I've done so far.

Welcome to the forum Tom. Tank is looking good.

If you're following advice from Th0mas, then you can't do any better than that.

Good luck with your breeding venture.

Dwarfs are a lot of fun to keep and breed. :P
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

Merrilyn has passed, but will not be forgotten - Goodbye dear friend
