    Royal Whiptail Spawn

    Well i finally done it! my royals have spawned!

    I took this pic whilst they were doing the wild thing!

    You can clearly see the whiskers on the males cheeks.

    Hey Ben, congratulations. That's so cool.

    Keep a photo record of these little guys as they hatch.

    I think spawning them is a pretty rare occurance.
    Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

    Hi Ben
    Ive got 6 of these guys, only around the 6 -7 cm length at the moment.
    How big are yours?
    Do you feed them anythign special to get them in condition?

    Royal Whiptail Spawn

    Hi Ben,
    John from ADA committee, Have had Successfully spawn them 6 time now have various sizes. 60mm to just hatched Sun 11. in total about 40 off
    good luck with yours
    Ps. There is no Better ALGAE eaters.

    Hi Mike, these are about 10cm length.

    I feed heavily with high protein foods such as spirulina brine shrimp and blood worms.... basically all the good hikari stuff!

    Eggs are comming along well!

    Not bad for a first spawn!
