    The FUTURE of fish keeping?

With our human obsession with colourful fish and technology to make them so, it seems keeping fish in the future is going to be a sad sad place IMO...

Here are some picture of fish heading in that direction on exhibit at the recent China Aquaria Expo.

Similar types of fish were on exhibit at Aquarama last year and my guess is that at next week's Duisburg fish show there will be more of these monstrosities....

3 of the biggest fish shows in the world exhibiting these fish.... Looks like they're here to stay.

That is so sad. Poor little fish. And Ryan is right - they will sell, and because they sell, more fish will suffer being injected with dye.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

and then some people will justify the habit because "if they don't they will not be able to afford to hold the fish we love to see"

    all a catch 22,

if it ain't broke and all that stuff
