what temp for ram's?

Hi all

I hope i am on the right forum for this!I just wanted to ask what the ideal temp is for my blue ram's and if a tannin stain in the water was ok for them?

Hi pepp ...

I got mine at 27-30 and they are fine ... and my ph is probably less than 6 ... I only have the normal ph test ... so can only test up to 6 ...

if you are planning to breed them then the ph should be even lower than 6 ... otherwise the eggs won't hatch ...

I have mine in a community amazon tank and wanted to make sure they will be fine at a higher temp than the 26-27 at the moment.

mine sit around 26-27.5 C and the eggs hatch no problems at a ph of 6.5 - 7

My ph is slightly lower at 6.3 and my water temp will be 27c so every thing look's ok there,thank's for your reply.
