Hi,
will be getting 2 geo altifons soon, they are ~10cm & 8cm. Can I have them in a tank with Discus?

I dont have any Altifrons, but I am keeping Araguaia with my discus, and I'd say they are quite similar. I haven't had any problems at all, the geos are very chilled. HTH.

I've had altifrons in with discus before, and they were fine when they were young. They don't worry the discus while they are still small, but as they grow, they become a bit too boisterous for the much quieter discus.

8 cm and 10 cm will be fine. Mine grew to around 25 - 30 cm in 2 years. You may be okay with just two of them. I had a school of 6 at the time, and later added another 6.

get the 2 home today, will snap some photo when they settled.
chances of 1m 1f is optimistic as they bought as same size but 1 is bigger than the other now
