Im inclined to say that yours is definately green tiger lotus I propagate them regurlarly thats not red.

Yeah they are pricey but by far the best in Adelaide. Did you see there fish they are breeding though they will be good fish that they are breeding and only $40 bucks eventually when they grow up....

That has sort of put me off discus from ******** discus now. The only reason making discus worse parents are that people have hand reared them. We do not want them to become angelfish now.

There is no doubt that a well planted tank will always look better. But I have seen some shocking planted tanks that are awkward and the person who aquascaped has no idea on plants.

Depending on the size of the rocks they may just be getting in the way. I would just stick to gravel. I found that when I got a new gravel cleaner it worked better but had to swap from sand to gravel...

The discus you will get has a natural environment of a barebottom tank with no substrate so its not their natural envrionment. The amazon where discus lives in the wild is brown with visibility low...

GH and KH are not the same there is however a link between the two results. if one is high usually the other is high but not always.
