The only problem with Nitrvec is that if you overdose the product it can cause problems :(

I was asking in general. I use it for new tanks and for decreasing nitrate/nitrite when things go wrong :)

As I mentioned in another post unconventionally you can use Metro for Gill Flukes. I've mainly used it in aquaculture for Australian Bass. I would recomend treating with formalin first and if fails...

Unconvetionally you can treat flukes via food with Metro. I would seperate the fish into a treatment tank and go from there.

Your able to get neomycin and nitrofurazone in Australia. Neomycin is available through a vet and nitro I haven't looked into. I would try convfentional treatments before going and using these...

Try to use formalin in a bath routine. A short bath (a few hours) or long bath (up to 3 days) can help but if it fails I would turn to Metro, if that fails well we can talk about that later....

Ben what strength formalin are you using? If It's aquarium industry strength should be 37-40%, if it's medical strength you might knock off more than just the fluke. I would try Formalin first and...
