I'll be using eco complete on my next planted tank. Saved a small fortune buying it on sale from ASA. Tank will be up and running when my new house is completed.

It may just need a new rubber seal between the motor section and the filter section. I've had eheims that have leaked as a result of old rubber seals. It is amazing how much difference there is...

Thanks for the quick response. I thought that it may have gotten lost with the amount of pms that ASA would get. I'll have to put an order together soon.

I've read that it should be planted in small bundles of about 5 plants spaced out at 1cm apart if you want a 'carpet' effect. After planting it should be trimmed to 2 -3 cm in height.

This may be a really dumb question but here goes.
Is aquasoil and powersand more like sand (ie clouds water easily when fish swim by) or like gravel?
