It may have been startled and damaged itself on some tank decor. Keep an eye on the graze it will heal on it's own, just keep up the water changes and pristine tank conditions.
yea there was some twigs in the tank so i removed them from the tank they have more room now it seams to be swimming normal now but why was it swimming in a circle in the first place ?
Shock / disorientated / stressed
ok i hope i dont lose her and she is alright only had her 3 weeks
she is getting worst the swirlig around is happening more and she is darting across the top of the water also.
have done a water change and put her in a tank where there is just a filter and no objects anything else that might help worried i am going to lose her
she is now lay on the bottom of the tank panting her heart out i dont htink she will make it threw the night totally gutted
I am sorry to hear that
At this stage maybe too late to do anything. Not sure what to suggest. I think it is very rare to recover from this spinning disease.
what is spinning disease caused by ? i bought these as a pair had her for 2 weeks so im pritty torn up about it
still alive this morning just done a 50% water change again and i will do another 50% later on see if that picks it up.
its not spinning around no more its just lay flat on the bottom
