I don't know about breeders, but the sponsers on this forum (many are in Sydney) sell excellent quality fish, or you could have a look at the classified section - there are often pictures of what is being sold by members of this forum.
Oh, and there's the AquaAuction website, just started up, where there are some great promotional specials.
If it's of any help, I've been getting fish shipped from Sydney to get the quality I'm after. You're right there. Lucky you!

Try Wayne and Bec at Xtreme at Taren Point or Ron at FishRock. I have bought discus from both of these shops and got them shipped all the way up to Cairns and was extremely happy with the quality from both shops.
