I have a 4 ft. tank which has been set up for about two years now. I have noticed over time that the timber floor supporting the tank has moved a (little) bit. When I do water changes I notice the tank seems to be a couple of degrees off exactly level.

Is this tolerable, risky or diabolical?

you need to get under your house and put some supports under the floor and make shore the floor bearor isnt leaning a little houses all ways move so just check it out and it should be fine

be careful if the tank itself isnt level is can often cause cracking an other structual problems with the tank an the weight of the water etc isnt even an one point gets to stressed an breaks, thats why most people put put polystirene underneath the tanks to absorb any little off balances.

but as scott said you should have a look under the house an if you can put supports
