Stendker Cobalts & Red Turks

I have always had a thing for cobalts, so couldn't resist getting some when Rod Lewis told me he was importing from Stendker discus.

I didn't plan on getting the RT's but couldn't resist after seeing some young adults :shock: The red on them was almost purple.

I also couldn't decide if I wanted the santarums, browns, alenquers or solid turqs. But $ and space was limited and I only wanted to work on a few strains.

Had to use flash so colours a bit washed out.

wow mate, they are beauty's ... love the shape on them. Stendkers are awsome fish, still kicking myself (heavily) for not getting in on that shipment :roll: As always top shelf fish from Rod, they are looking very happy and healthy ... keep up the great work and please keep us updated, would love to see the RT's colour up mate :D

PS - Did ya see the browns Rod had aswell, I saw some pics and they where truly awsome.

Dee I did see Rod's pics, but those santarums were something else in real life. Had to use a lot of self restraint. :D

Just an update. Looks like I only got one RT, the other three look like alenquers. I can't believe how much these fish eat... they eat (and poop) more than all other fish I've kept.

Those Cobalts are stunners. Is it just the photos or are some of the alenquers a bit short and high finned?

Might be the pic, all the fish look pretty uniform to me. It may have been holding it's fins down at the time.

I'm extremely happy with them and they were an awesome price.
