Yeah Ditto!

Just did a quick google and there was some posts last year about it on the Perth cichlid society forums but nothing recent.

Also found this, now thats what you call nano! http://www.aquahobby.com/tanks/e_tank0603.php

Hi,

I spent quite a bit of time looking into this several months back. From what I found, this plant is not available in Australia.

I made enquiries about importation and this is the body of the response I got back:

"The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) regulates all seed and nursery stock imported into Australia by way of a 'Permitted' list. AQIS's Permitted list is maintained on a database, the Import Conditions (ICON) database at http://www.aqis.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex_alertscontent.asp. ICON contains the current Australian import conditions for more than 13,000 foreign plants and is a simple and convenient way to access information about Australian import requirements. It can be used to determine if a commodity intended for import to Australia needs a quarantine permit and/or treatment or if there are any other quarantine prerequisites.

Unfortunately Hemianthus spp. is not listed on ICON. Species which are not listed on ICON, are either prohibited entry or prohibited until assessed. Any unassessed species not on the Permitted Seeds list will not be allowed entry into Australia until a Weed Risk Assessment (WRA) has been completed to determine their agricultural and environmental weed potential in Australia. If you still wish to pursue the import of this species you may complete a New Plant Introduction form (see attached). Once this form is has been completed and received, the species shall undergo a full WRA to determine their weed potential in Australia. We will contact you once we receive advice on this species from Biosecurity Australia. There is no charge for a Weed Risk Assessment. However, please note this process can be lengthy (can be up to 6 months depending on Biosecurity Australia's workload).

Further information on this process can be access through the following link:
http://www.daff.gov.au/content/output.cfm?ObjectID=6AC8861C-AC6A-446D-A4BA1730A9B01ADC&contType=outputs"

This was back in January and sadly I never got around to progressing this as I had to change jobs and 2 young children take up the rest of my time.

Would love to get hold of this plant but I don't know where to start outside of Oz.
