Thanks for replying, really glad to know that there's a form devoted to discus fanatics. I am still exploring this site and found that there are so much useful information and nice picts..

Proteus, I dont have the full aquatic plant list with me, but giant Hygrophila, Echinodorus latifolius, Vallisneria americana, Java moss, Nuphar lutea etc are what I know of. It's not difficult to get aquatic plants in tropical area.

Yes I have been keeping discus for 3 years, and my constraint is NOT ENOUGH tanks and time to keep more species, what a greedy fellow. Actually my heart is more to tetra than discus, I like to see fish shoaling :D

Discus are a great shoaling fish, you just need a huge tank too see it in great effect.


Also welcome, mate looks like you have quiet a tank there, very nice aquascaping.
