Chemi-pure

Has anyone used Chemi-pure? Some say it is a popular substitute for carbon and other media, just wondering if anyone has used it or is using it.

I use chemi pure exclusively in my canisters. It is the last layer before the water is returned. Great product. You only have to change it every 6 months. It is so much more than regular carbon. It reduces and controls odor, nitrate, nitrite spikes and amonia. Will not alter PH and helps to keep water clear. If you are going to use a pre mixed media in a filter chemi pure is the way to go.

just wonder, how much did you put into your last layer of your canister filter ??

coz i know the product do come with 280gm each package.
