I saw this in Practica Fish Keeping Web site. I thought you diehard Eheim fans would love to know. :)

Eheim launches programmable filters
Eheim shared the John Allan stand at Glee and showed off some impressive new aquariums including a new programmable filter.

The Professionel 3 electronic external filter will be available in two sizes for freshwater and marine aquariums of 400 and 700 litres respectively.

The Eheim 3e displays a touch pad interface on the head unit that can be programmed to perform a number of functions from a pulse to adjustable flow rates and includes built-in error management. It can even increase its own flow as it starts to clog and offers a service indicator that informs you of the time remaining between services.

The Eheim Twin Autofeeder does exactly as it sounds and can feed two different types of food at different time intervals. This feature is particularly useful for most aquariums as tablets and flake could be offered at different times throughout the day.

A new range of aquariums were also on display including two cubic models, Scubacube and Q1, one with the pipework built in to the corner, for fitting right up to a wall, and both on tall cabinets for viewing while standing.

The Scubabay aquarium is truly different being bowed on its two sides top-to-bottom, instead of outwards from the front. The cabinet is available in black and white or "wenge" (a dark wood colour) and white. Both come complete with T5 lighting.

Scubaline aquariums are traditional rectangles that come in a choice of three, two-tone designs and are available with or without drawers. The cabinets don't have handles, giving a clean overall look.

The products are due to go on sale in the UK shortly.
