I'm not sure the point of running an air pump these days unless you are using the pump to power a filter?

If you are using air pumps to create water movement at the surface, your outlets of regular filter should do the same job if you point them at the surface. Save you some money too.

Maybe you just want the look of it. I guess you will need that then.

Air pump is for sponge filters in my breeding tanks.
I bought a cheep one 4 months ago and well well its dead and its not worth the travel to get it replaced under warranty so i want to just spend the money on a quality pump so i dont have to worry about it in the future

Eheim airpumps s..ks :-)
I live in holland where Eheim is the mainbrand in aquarium attributes, and it is close to germany

Just bought myself pretty recently a Eheim airpomp model 400
after a weeks I wanted to use the airpomp somewhere else and so i needed to take off the airhoses...guess what, both connections broke off (trust me i tried it really gentle way)

After contactint the eheim repair centre (10 minutes away from me) the servicedesk could tell me they have lot's of complanins about it, he even swore and said I hope they come soon with a replaceble top with metal pins to solve this issue

So...eheim airpomp NO GO
