This seems to be different from the earlier sections - it seems that it no longer allows posting images directly, need to upload into somewhere first.

Or is it something to do with my settings/profiles??

it could be to make it easier to post pics of larger sizes....
although it does makes things harder in the long run

All you need to do is hit refresh.

As this is a new forum, any old DF.com cookies that you have in your cache may interfere with the functionality of such utilities.

The attachment mod is the same in all topic areas.

To make things easier, the board has been reset and all features should be accessible.
