Having scouted through most if not all of the Australian online shops, I stumbled across an offer from a Hong Kong based company to supply AquaOne (Atman) MG1500 for a fair bit less than I have found them here.
Including shipping, the cost is around AUD$ 850 which is around $300 less than the cheapest I had sen them here ($1149).
Supposedly, these are exactly the same lights as the AquaOne ones sold here but the difference is that apart from the MG1500, whose guys also sell MGD1500 which has built in timers.
The lights supposedly have passed Australian testing because a number of them has been imported here.
Everyone seems to agree that AquaOne / Atman lights are reasonable quality and supposedly, a lot of them is sold in shops here.
I figured the offer was too good to pass and have ordered one with a timer for my new 5 x 2 x 2 planted tank.
