black water extract

is black water extract the same as if you boiled some peat? if so what are the dosage recomendations?

Hi Nathan
I cut up a stocking (not my own of course) and make little bags in which I put peat. I suppose I replace the peat each month or so...works a treat...

so does it work the same as black water extract, contains the same sort of acids?

also do u put the peat packs into the tank or have water running through them?
