How much lighting over a BB tank?

Hi

I have 2 adult discus in a BB 2'*18"*18" and put a two 18W lights on them and they will hide as much as they can under my driftwood.

Today i borrowed a 15W light that's 10K rating and there doing the same thing hiding and won't come out untill the lights are off.

How much light do you have over your BB tanks?
Do you have problems with reflection?
Is time the best thing my fish have been in there BB tank 2 days.

Give them some time.
Do you have other fish in there as well ??
Mine used to hide more but then i put a small pleco in and now they are fine.
No extra lights for me except the one in the room, otherwise its all natural sunlight, not direct.

how long have you had the fish in the tank?
mine in the 2ft tank has the lights on at evening in a bare tank and they arent shy now , they were at the beginning!
