Gday members,

Allan dosent like boasting about his fish so I thought I would for him on this occasion considering he cleaned up 1st and 3rd with these two fish.

Pictures comprise of 2 fish , a scarlett red and a lovely spotted lepord.

Thank you everyone for your warm comments on the two entries I submitted in this years Royal Brisbane Show, the fish are now home and are settling back in their tanks very nicely.

The Royal Brisbane Show competition is a generalised competition for all types of fish, and broken down into different class types such as:

Sth American Cichlids which my fish were entered in,
Nth American Cichlids,
Central American Cichlids,
Livebearers,
Marine,
Planted Section, etc, I could go on as the list of classes is endless.
Unfortunately there are no Discus competitions held in Australia anymore, which i feel is very disappointing, especially to newcomers in the hobby as if these competitions held, it would give the newcomers an opportunity to display their fish and also attract others to show fish as well in a competition that would put the discus hobby back on the map in Australia.
Just my view on things at the moment
Regards
Allan

Hey Allan,
Where did you get discus like that, suspect that The Royal Brisbane Show competition didn't have enough entries and that's how come you won.
Congratulations on your winners, just kidding old buddy.
