My mother was cleaning out the cupboard today and found a hydor L40 brand new in the box. Will it be a good powerhead to move water around my new 75 gallon tank that I will be getting in the neart future or is it to powerful? and if anyone has had any experience in these are they noisy? It has a price tag on it of $176 so I was thinking it must be good quality

It's probably a bit of an overkill for your tank, but you can always divert some of the water to different sections of the tank using various connectors, or slow it down, good score I reckon.
