I think they are spawning???

Hey guys I think for the first time I am getting a spawn. For a couple of days now I have noticed the two cleaning the PVC pipe nad now I can see the tube down on the female. Does that mean I am actually geeting some eggs??

I see both going up on the pipe but no eggs? Is this normal??

Congratulations!

They do lots of trial runs before they actually begin to lay eggs, so yes, they're doing everything right.

You should see eggs within a few hours.

Just observe the male, and see if he follows after the female. He should make runs up the cone after she lays a row of eggs. Some males take a while to get the hang of things.
