for a planted tank thats ok. dont let it go above 15ppm really. your plants should consume it anyway but if they dont perform a w/c

I may be wrong, but isn't the ideal not above 5ppm if keeping Discus ?

for a planted tank aquarists try to keep around 10ppm for their plants. i dont think anything up to 20ppm would hurt the discus but you would want to keep it under and around 10ppm in my oppinion for tanks that arent planted.
