I now have my albino laying eggs in the main tank along with my LSS (which was thought to be male !) and my white swan. My RGD & BD are bowing to each other and dancing as we speak and my brilliant blue is all on his lonesome in the corner.

Why has all this spawning suddenly occured ? I have recently changed their beefheart mix. I use salmon, prawn and scallops with a pureed spinach carrot and banana. I also added a lot of wheat germ to the mix this time.

Who needs viagra? haha

I will invest in some 3 foot tanks to breed selected pairs out soon - most likely BD & RGD, albino & brilliant blue and I will make the fry available to the good people of this forum at a very cheap price if successful.

Hi G,

We have been asking the same question, we've had alot of pairs spawn within 2 days of each other . The only thing we came up with is a drop in barometric pressure straight after a water change. What's the weather been like where you are?

Hey MAC,

In Sydney its very cold atm as you would expect but in the last 24-36 hours we have had a decent amount of rain (low pressure system moving through). Maybe you are onto something there.

Ben,

I agree with you about the RGD BD cross - I am more interested in just seeing what I get out of the cross thats all. It might be really awesome you never know. What happened to the rose red that you crossed to a brilliant blue was it ?
